Our Melbourne newborn photography studio operates from a bright, private, comfortable studio located in the south-western suburb of Werribee. This location is well known for the historic Werribee Mansion and the Open Range Zoo.
Our studio is a place where life-long family memories will be made. It will be one of the first places you’ll take your precious new baby and you can watch as we photograph some of their first moments, including their first few days as a newborn or their very first cake smash.

Our newborn photography in Melbourne will be honoured to create individual and family portraits that will last a lifetime as you welcome your tiny new family member into the world.
Upon booking your newborn photography session, you’ll receive (usually via email) a personalised preparation guide with tips to help you make the most appropriate clothing, hair, and makeup choices. Aside from milk for your baby, you don’t have to worry about bringing anything else since we have maternity gowns and props such as bowls, fabrics, wraps, and bonnets at our studio.
Each session takes an average of 3 to 4 hours, but this can be shortened or extended depending on your schedule and your baby’s comfort. We provide ample opportunity for you to care for your baby, including feeding and nappy changing. At the end of the newborn photography session, you’ll get to choose your favourite images to build your own personalised collection of photos.
Tory personally hand edits each of your chosen images to absolute perfection in an extremely delicate process. Once post-processing is done, your products (such as keepsake boxes and Australian-made wall art) are then ordered and crafted. Around 4 weeks after your newborn photography session, your products, prints, and high-resolution digital files on USB will all be ready.

Tory, our newborn photographer in Melbourne, aims to photograph your baby between 7-14 days old if and when practical to do so. As we take a limited number of bookings each month, it’s important to make a reservation as early as possible, so please contact us once you know your due date. Newborn baby photoshoot sessions are available Monday-Friday and start at 10am.
Sessions are held Monday-Friday. If necessary, we can open the studio on a weekend, but please let us know well ahead of time to check availability. Weekend sessions are charged at +$250.
An average newborn baby photography session takes 3-4 hours, but your baby will not be rushed if they need a little more time! We provide ample opportunity for comforting and milk during our sessions for unique newborn photography with parents.
Your natural newborn baby photography session will be a day to remember! Yes, of course! As a matter of fact, our newborn baby photographer in Melbourne encourages parents and siblings to get in the photos! As parents, we have a habit of hiding behind the camera, but in years to come your children will ask where you were. As part of booking your session, you’ll receive a Preparation Guide to help you decide on appropriate clothing and makeup.
All our Collections include your purchased images as prints and high-resolution digital files on USB.
Producing your beautiful photo gallery will take many hours of work to get them ready for viewing. Please allow approximately four weeks to view them.

You should get newborn photos as soon as 1 week, a good age for newborn photography in Melbourne. But 2 weeks after having your baby is also still within the ideal timeframe for newborn pictures. Though you can take photos earlier than a week, your baby will likely be in a transition phase that isn’t always flattering when captured in still images.
